Mini RC Cars

There’s nothing better than a scaled-down car as an RC car, but mini RC cars are just scaled-down RC cars. Literally just doubling down the fun!

But what exactly are they? And what even is the point of a ‘mini’ RC car, when they’re already pretty small?

What Are Mini RC Cars?

For many people, radio-controlled cars, also known as RC cars, were one of the best parts of their childhood. Many people had RC cars as children, but as they got older, they abandoned the hobby.

While they have been wildly popular as childhood memories, they can still be pretty fun no matter how old you get, especially because as an adult, they can be bigger and better than ever!

But what happens if you’re living in an apartment, or just don’t have the time or space to get out to a park to run a full-sized RC car?

Well, you should get a micro RC car! Micro RC cars are scaled-down compact RC cars, that are perfect for when you don’t have a lot of space or time.

You can also choose between electrical, nitro, or gas as your preferred power method. And, certainly, there are a variety of sizes to think about. The size category has more selections than virtually any other.

What Scale Are Mini RC Cars?

A normal hobby-grade RC car usually sits at a scale of around 1/8 to 1/10th scale. So a “mini RC car” is anything that would be significantly smaller than that. Most mini RC cars usually range around 1/16th down to 1/32 scale, although you can push it even further than that depending on the brand!

Also keep in mind that while an RC’s scale is based on its full-size counterpart, you might find that the smaller you go, the less detail you’re able to put onto your mini car.

Are Mini RC Cars Better Than The 1:10 Scale?

While mini racing cars are amazing in all sizes, questions may come up about whether the bigger the mini racing cars are, the better they might perform. And to answer that question, it’s not always the case!

In general, the 1:10 scale of a mini RC car is standardized, but if you want to have a realistic feeling when involving yourself in the era of mini RC cars, you can definitely get hooked on it. It’s possible that bigger isn’t always better. Indoors and in limited locations, little RC automobiles and lorries have a distinct advantage. The fun doesn’t stop at night or in bad weather when you have a tiny RC car; simply move the action inside.

Is There A Difference Between A Micro RC Car And A Mini RC Car?

Although both micro-radio-controlled cars and mini-radio-controlled cars are operated in the same way and give the same pleasure to the ones who play them, the main difference between them is their size.

A mini RC car is a smaller wireless remote device that can be played indoors, usually at a scale of 1:32 or smaller. A micro RC car, on the other hand, is the smallest remote control vehicle imaginable, with scales as small as 1:72.

In other words, these are essentially similar remote-control vehicle classes, it is just that  “micro” once again increases the factor of scaled-down RC cars by a large factor once again.
